Section D (pegs 24-30) - Jason Jones - 66.8lb
A much tougher day overall but it was always going to be the case with only 4 spare pegs on the whole lake. That said it made for a tight match and sections with 1459lb caught at an average of 56lb per man.
Mystery prizes funded by Rick and Keith's 'spotties' went to the two anglers who suffered the most at the wrong end of the weights list and prizes wne to Trevor Allpress for number of bait buckets on a trolley and Henry Mellor for saying it was fantastic fishing yet weighing in 'sod all' (only joshing boys!)
My thanks to all who went, when I get some time a tell the stories of the 3 days.....and there are many
1. Beware the Gatekeeper especially when he is angry or has had 7 pints and a pie!!
2. Floats the size of seatboxes on the 5m line, oh it was a seatbox......
3. Borrowed pole, top kits n bait for a PB and lake win.....
4. The elf with the swollen / septic / sore....lets just say tool....."I have a photo here"!!!
5. Once a mugger always a mugger........the road to a WBAC record.....
6. The impish slopmeister of 2012 blows out in 2013......
7. Its a fecking great 8lb barbel that dont count......5mins fighting it cost me 3rd overall.....doh!
